We've been learning about the first Thanksgiving from the point of view of the pilgrim children and native american children. We even compared and contrasted our Thanksgivings with the first Thanksgiving!
Students turned their spelling words and a 'challenge' word of their choice into rainbow words.
In writers workshop this week students completed a checklist for one of their realistic fiction stories. After reviewing their checklists, each student worked with me to create a writing goal for the week.
On Monday our class voted on a goal for the food drive. They've decided to try to collectively bring in 100 items to donate to the food pantry. So far we're at 81 items!
