Snaphots From Our Week

On Monday we ventured over to Merrill Memorial Library for a tour and read aloud by special guest reader and Yarmouth town manager, Nat Tupper!

Students have been busy writing realistic fiction during writers workshop.  This week we've been focusing on writing satisfying endings,  being brave and using sparkle words to make our stories more fun to read, and adding in feelings, actions, and dialogue.

In math we've started practicing frames and arrows!

We finished our Families Are Different! class book this week and shared our families' Thanksgiving traditions.  Now we are learning about pilgrim and native american families and the first Thanksgiving!  The  Plimoth Plantation website has some great videos and online learning!

Happy weekend!
