We've been studying the owl life cycle this week.  Here are some videos we watched to learn more:

                                    

Students made their own owl lifecycle wheels and then taught their kindergarten buddies all about it on Friday!

In math we've been working on subtraction number models.  We've played subtraction bingo, solved change-to-less number stories,  and made up some of our own number stories!

Our word study focus this week has been on digraphs.  Students have been playing digraph games, tapping out words with digraphs, and searching for digraphs in books as 'digraph detectives'!
