Students worked together to create a set of class rules that allow everyone in our room to learn, make friends, and have fun. Each child then had a opportunity to pick a rule to illustrate for our poster.
We created a class quilt!
Our writers workshop is in full swing! This week we practiced storytelling true small moments from our lives. We also read some small moments books and studied the illustrations. Students are now illustrating their own stories, focusing on character facial expressions to show feeling and movement lines to show action.
In math we've been practicing counting up and down on the number line, comparing numbers, sorting into categories, and making tally marks.
