What We've Been Up To...

In science we've started studying motion!  Last week the students used disks and straws to make tops and experimented with different designs to make a top with the best spinning or rotating motion.

This week, we are continuing to focus on the same rotating motion with zoomers!

In writers workshop students are writing persuasive letters!  If you are the lucky recipient of a persuasive letter, feel free to write back so students can see how powerful their writing can be!

We had a great community meeting this week!  The topic was kindness.  All the students wrote kind words on a speech bubble.  They are now hanging in the hallway to remind us to use kind words with our friends and teachers.

On Friday we celebrated Valentine's Day!
