In math we are continuing to practice measuring with non-standard units. We measured different paths on a treasure map on Wednesday!
Our science experiment this week was a bit more challenging than last week. Students tried to get a pencil to balance on its point on a popsicle stick using wire and counterweights.
As part of our study of non-fiction texts in readers workshop, we started using a new non-fiction booksheet this week!
We've begun to publish our how-to stories in writers workshop!
